My Story
From E-Commerce Ops to Data Engineering
With over two decades in IT and technology, I've worked across infrastructure, systems administration, and software before finding my focus in e-commerce data engineering. For the last 5+ years, I've been deep in the trenches of e-commerce operations -- managing product listings, monitoring competitor prices, and chasing inventory numbers across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. The kind of work where you have 50 browser tabs open and a spreadsheet that never stops growing.
Over those years I watched the same pattern repeat: talented people spending hours on manual data pulls, copy-pasting between platforms, and building reports that were already outdated by the time they hit someone's inbox. I knew there had to be a better way.
So I started automating. First it was a simple price scraper. Then an inventory alert system. Then a full competitor intelligence dashboard that tracked 10,000+ products across multiple marketplaces in real time. What used to take a team member an entire day now ran hands-free, 24/7.
Building Systems, Not Just Scripts
What sets my work apart is that I don't just write a scraper and hand over a CSV. I build complete systems: the data pipeline that collects, the logic that analyzes, the dashboard that visualizes, and the alerts that notify. When something changes in your market at 3 AM, you'll know about it before your morning coffee.
I work with Python, JavaScript, Playwright for browser automation, n8n for visual workflow orchestration, and AWS for hosting. My dashboards use Chart.js for interactive visualizations, and I integrate directly with Google Sheets and Google Analytics so your data lives where your team already works.
